AML/KYC Policy

This KYC/AML Policy has been established to prevent the use of Onegin Exchange for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions evasion, and any other unlawful activities.
By using onegin-exchange.com, the User acknowledges and agrees to comply with the provisions of this Policy.
The Service reserves the right to review any transaction, customer, or source of funds to ensure platform security and compliance with international Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) standards.
To analyze cryptocurrency transactions, the Service utilizes specialized AML monitoring and blockchain analytics tools.
The Service does not accept digital assets associated with illegal activities or assets presenting an elevated risk level.
Incoming transactions may be automatically screened for connections to the following risk categories:
Sanctions Lists;
Special Measures;
Terrorist Financing;
Child Abuse Material;
Fraud Shops and Fraudulent Services;
Gambling;
Darknet Markets;
Ransomware Activities;
Stolen Funds;
Scam Activities;
High-Risk Jurisdictions;
Cryptocurrency Mixing Services (Mixers / Tumblers);
Any other risk categories identified by the AML monitoring systems used by the Service.
If an incoming transaction is identified as high-risk or contains critical AML indicators, the Service reserves the right to:
Suspend the processing of the Order;
Request additional information regarding the source of funds;
Request identity verification documents from the User;
Request documents confirming the lawful origin of funds;
Refuse to process the exchange transaction.
The exchange may remain suspended until the verification process has been completed.
If the Service determines that a refund is appropriate following a compliance review, funds will be returned exclusively to the wallet address from which they were originally received.
The following deductions may apply:
Blockchain network fees;
Costs associated with processing the refund;
Additional fees charged by counterparties or liquidity providers involved in the compliance review.
In certain cases, the Service reserves the right to retain up to 10% of the refunded amount to cover expenses associated with processing a high-risk transaction.
Refund processing times depend on the outcome of the review and may be extended if additional verification procedures are required.
The Service may require Users to complete a KYC verification procedure whenever necessary to satisfy security requirements or AML obligations.
The User may be asked to provide:
A government-issued identification document;
A selfie with the identification document;
Video verification;
Proof of residential address;
Proof of source of funds;
Any other documents reasonably required to complete the verification process.
Failure or refusal to complete the requested verification may result in the denial of services.
When bank transfers or card payments are used, the Service may require confirmation that the payment instrument belongs to the User.
If the payment details do not match the User's identity information, the Service may request additional documentation to verify the legitimacy of the transaction.
Order processing may be suspended until the verification process is completed.
If a User fails to provide requested documents or does not respond to compliance-related inquiries within a reasonable period of time, the Service reserves the right to:
Suspend the provision of services;
Refuse to process the Order;
Return funds in accordance with this Policy;
Take any other measures permitted by the Service's internal security procedures.
The Service reserves the right to refuse services to Users located in countries, territories, or jurisdictions that are considered high-risk or are subject to international sanctions and regulatory restrictions.
The list of restricted jurisdictions may be updated at any time without prior notice and is determined by internal compliance procedures, liquidity providers, payment partners, and applicable legal requirements.
Onegin Exchange reserves the right to refuse any transaction without providing a reason if such transaction may violate security requirements, the provisions of this Policy, AML/KYC obligations, or applicable laws and regulations.
